We told you earlier this week that Robert De Niro welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79. It was a surprise to everyone, considering De Niro will turn 80 in August.

The Oscar-winning actor welcomed his seventh baby with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen on Thursday, April 6. The couple revealed it was a healthy baby girl who weighed just over 8 pounds.
During an interview on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, De Niro revealed the baby girl’s name is Gia Virginia Chen De Niro.

De Niro seems to be a family man, and sources say he’s very excited to be a new father again. It’s been a minute since he’s had to take care of a newborn. Before this seventh baby, his youngest child was 11-year-old Helen, and his oldest was 51-year-old Drena.
Apparently, De Niro kept his girlfriend’s pregnancy a secret because his ‘About My Father‘ co-star Sebastian Maniscalco didn’t even know.
I was informed today that he had the baby. I didn’t know leading up to this that he was going to have a baby but … God bless him. He’s a very soft-spoken individual, loves to spend time with his family and I’m happy for him.
