Nothing sparks more fear inside a parent than traveling with a kid under the age of five. You just never know how it’s going to turn out, and Kaley Cuoco got her first taste of it recently.
The former ‘Big Bang Theory‘ star and her husband, Tom Pelphrey, took their 9-month-old daughter Matilda on a plane for the first time over the holidays.
And during a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Cuoco admitted it didn’t quite go as planned, mostly because they were seated right behind the rudest lady ever.
I was so terrified. So I thought, ‘What do we do? We have to bring her sound machine on the plane.’ It’s the only thing she can go to sleep to. So she’s crying. It was hard. She finally falls asleep and she’s on Tom and the sound machine is on and we were finally like [sighs].
But then the lady in front of them had to ruin it all. She asked the steward to come over and tell Kaley and Tom to turn off the sound machine because it was bothering her.
We were so angry. So then we landed, and it was the woman right in front of us. And so we get up and she goes, ‘Oh, so your daughter does know how to smile.’
Wow. That’s a mean lady right there. Nothing you can do but smile and wish her the best of days.
