Even though her oldest is 16-years-old, Jessica Alba says when it comes to packing for family vacations, she has to take charge.
For those who don’t know, the 43-year-old actress has three kids with her husband, Cash Warren. The oldest is 16 and the youngest is 6.
During a recent interview with Seth Meyers, Alba talked about taking a family vacation recently and admitted she had to do most of the packing…
I am the packer, yeah. And my husband’s like, ‘I am stressed.’ And every time I’m like, ‘I’m never going to do this again,’ And he’s like, ‘You don’t have to. They’re old enough.’ But they don’t pack the right stuff. And then we’re stuck. Last year, we went on vacation, my son had no underwear at all, no chonies at all. They were gone.
She added that he also failed to pack enough socks. Those are two important things to forget. Socks and underwear are pretty essential. We can see why Alba feels like she needs to take over.
This year, Alba decided to use vacuum packing bags to create more space, and well, it didn’t turn out great…
So two bags maximum. We’re going to three different counties. There’s three different climates. So we have to use those to compact everything. Terrible idea. Because you have to deflate everything, open up. Everything’s wrinkled. So my kids just look like the most wrinkled children. Everywhere we go, they kind of look like a hot mess. And then you have to pack it all back in and suck all the stuff out. It’s not good.
But hey, at least they had their clothes! Wrinkled clothes are better than no clothes!
