Congratulations are in order for the 8th time for Nick Cannon. The 41-year-old entertainer just welcomed his eighth baby, but only his first with model Bre Tiesi.

Tiesi gave birth to their son, Legendary, during an unmedicated home birth. She shared all the details in a new vlog uploaded to YouTube on Monday morning. She revealed that the baby needed a little respiratory support from her midwife, which caused a few tense moments following the birth.

Cannon can be seen by Tiesi’s side as a steadfast support partner throughout the lengthy labor. Later, in a sweet fatherly moment, he offers skin-to-skin contact with the newborn and changes his diaper.

Cannon is a professional baby daddy these days. He shares 11-year-old twins with Mariah Carey, a 5-year-old and a 19-month-old with Brittany Bell, and 13-month-old twins with Abby De La Rosa. He also shared a baby boy named Zen with Alyssa Scott, but tragically, Zen passed away in December of 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

In June, during an appearance on the Lip Service podcast, the radio host revealed that he is expecting more children this year. Responding to speculation that he has ‘three babies on the way,’ Cannon first joked, ‘When you say ‘on the way… ‘ What count are you at? Let’s just put it this way … the stork is on the way.’

So it’s possible that Cannon will have three more babies in the next year. He might be a father to 11 children before 2023 ends. And while he’s worth around $20 million, that’s still a lot of babies to take care of. That’s a lot of child support to pay. A lot of diapers to buy. A lot of Cheerios in your car.

If you’re wondering how Cannon manages to find the time to care for eight kids, well, he claims he makes the time.

Contrary to popular belief, I’m probably engaged throughout my children’s day, more often than the average adult can be. If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff. And then when I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like making sure I pick ’em up.

More power to him.
