It might be difficult to believe, but the man who slammed his head against a wall on national television during a particularly wild night of drinking, is now a proud father and husband.
Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and his wife Lauren are expecting another little situation. The happy couple announced on social media this past weekend that they’re expecting their second baby together. Mike and Lauren already share a 14-month-old baby boy named Romeo.
Mike wrote on his Instagram, “We have an amazing announcement!! We’re a growing family! Baby on the way 🤰🏼 January 2023 🤍God is Good 🙏🏼,”
Mike is 40-years-old and Lauren is 37. They got married back in 2018, and one year later in 2019, Lauren told Good Morning America that she had suffered a miscarriage.
Lauren recalled tracking her ovulation cycles, sharing that ‘it worked out perfectly’ that she was ovulating at the same time Mike was released from the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, in September of that year after serving eight months for tax fraud.
‘The night he came home we actually conceived,’ she said. ‘And then at about six-and-a-half, seven weeks I miscarried. It was heart-wrenching.’
Lauren talked about wanting to share her story so other people who might be going through something similar wouldn’t feel as alone.
Mike has really grown up a lot since his Jersey Shore days, so we’re super excited to see his family is growing! His co-stars, Pauly D and JWoww commented on the post, expressing their excitement as well.
Pauly wrote, “So so so happy for you guys!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽,” and JWoww wrote, “Yassssssss.”
