As most of you should know by now, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are getting a divorce. After 13 long years of marriage, Gisele decided she could no longer come second to football. She thought it was over after last season, but when Brady went back on his retirement, she packed her bags and left.

During the Monday episode of Brady’s Sirius XM show ‘Let’s Go‘ the 45-year-old star quarterback talked about how he’s really focused on spending quality time with his children.

Obviously, the good news is it’s a very amicable situation and I’m really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children. We all have our unique challenges in life. We’re all humans. We do the best we could do. I have incredible parents that have always taught me the right way to do things. I want to be a great father to my children.

Brady and Bundchen share two children, 12-year-old Benjamin and 9-year-old Vivian. He’s also the father to 15-year-old Jack, who he shares with his ex Bridget Moynahan.

Sources say Tom and Gisele have been planning this divorce for a month or two now, and they’ve come to an agreement on most of the difficult decisions, including custody of the children. Sources say they have agreed on joint custody.

Brady will live in Tampa and Bundchen will be four hours away in Miami. After the divorce was revealed to the public, Bundchen released the following statement on Instagram:

My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve. The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but I feel blessed for the time we had together.
