Congratulations are in order for ‘American Idol‘ star Gaby Barrett and her husband Cade Foehner. The two singers met on the 16th season of the reality tv singing competition. Barrett finished in third place and Foehner finished in fifth place.
But more important than their placings, they found love. The two stars have been nearly inseparable since meeting on the show back in 2018.
They married one year later in 2019 and in early 2021, they gave birth to their first daughter (Baylah) together. And now, little Baylah has a little baby brother.
Barrett gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Augustine Boone on Thursday, October 27. They announced the exciting news on Instagram, sharing a photo of Baylah looking over the newborn.
“Soaking up the newborn days with baby brother. What a precious gift from our Lord!” Barrett wrote in the caption, adding, “Augustine Boone Foehner 10.27.22 💙(Pronounced UH-GUS-TIN).”
When she welcomed her first daughter back in 2021, Barrett wrote that her goals in life have changed a little bit.
I will defend and protect you always. My No. 1 goal in this life does not have to do with singing/entertaining, but raising a God fearing Christian, who loves Christ more than her mom and dad could ever. Praise God for you my love, and for motherhood.
