As some of you may know, 44-year-old actor Ashton Kutcher had been training for months to compete in the 2022 New York City Marathon.
He put together virtual training sessions on Peloton, featuring celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kenny Chesney, to help raise over $1 million on behalf of his charity THORN, which protects children from trafficking.
Kutcher’s training set him up for success because he ran and completed the marathon in just under four hours, which is a little better than the average time. Several years ago, the overall average time was around four hours and twenty minutes.

But of course, Kutcher didn’t run the marathon to break any records. It was an inspirational journey to raise money for charity, and to motivate.
During a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Mila Kunis revealed their kids (8, 5) were so inspired by their dad that they’re now training to run a 5K.
Now they’re going to start. They want to run a 5K and today he started training our kids to run. They did a half-mile run today. It’s very cute.
Don’t expect Mila to join them though. She hates running, “I can lie and be like ‘Absolutely!’ – But I’m not,” she admitted during the interview.
But still, even though running is not her thing, she’s very proud of her husband.
He nailed it. He did awesome. It’s amazing for kids to watch their parents go through it, because it’s not easy. It takes a toll on your body, and so our kids got to see him overcome all of this. It was very cool.
It’s a huge accomplishment to complete a marathon, so congrats to Ashton.
And congrats to me, I just completed a marathon of Stranger Things last week in just under five days, so we’re all doing big things out here!
