Did you know Carrie Underwood has a son? Actually, she has two sons! Some people still don’t know that the country music superstar has a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old son, and that’s likely because she’s pretty private when it comes to her personal life.
But this past weekend, the 40-year-old singer went on her Instagram account to share photos from Jacob’s 4th birthday party.
She first shared a photo of Jacob as a baby, writing, “This was yesterday…and now you are 4 😩 Happy birthday, sweet Jake…my sunshine!!! God truly blessed us when he gave us the miracle of you!!! We love you! ❤️”
Underwood then shared photos of the Spiderman-themed cake.
In addition to Jacob, she and her husband Mike Fisher also have 7-year-old Isaiah. Carrie and Mike have been married since 2010.
Underwood has talked about her parenting struggles in the past, revealing the main thing she needed to work on was her short fuse because she saw that transferring to Jacob.
Believe it or not, I can have a short fuse. I think Jacob got that from me. When he gets frustrated because he can’t do something he wants to do or something isn’t working right for him, I know it’s the ‘me’ in him.
We always say, as long as you’re aware of your flaws, you’re one step ahead of the game. You can’t fix something you refuse to accept.
