Brittany Bell and Nick Cannon’s 5-year-old son Golden is living up to his name. The 35-year-old mother took a moment to celebrate Golden’s academic abilities in a video posted to her Instagram.
Bell first shared a video of her and Golden together in the car, where she quizzed him on spelling words.
He was easily able to spell knowledge and silence, with the video cutting off as he started to spell imitated.
She then shared another video, with her saying, “I just want to show you something. I’ve been busy in school, busy in the mom life, but I’m so proud of my son, he inspires me. Let me tell you why, look.”
The video then showed the results from a skills assessment taken by Golden.
Golden got tested for his abilities, and he’s at grade level four. Although he’s not even six, he’s in second grade. He’s scoring in everything at a fourth-grade level. This is amazing. He blew me away. He inspires me.
We can only imagine how proud Nick and Brittany are, but let’s hope Nick doesn’t get too much of a big head. After all, he’s had over 10 kids, so the odds of him creating one that’s a little smarter than average are probably higher than most.
But still, congratulations to Golden. If we’re being honest, I probably wouldn’t even test at a fourth grade level… I’m just saying! LET’S KEEP IT REAL!
