As we told you earlier this month, Ireland Baldwin (the daughter of Alec Baldwin) and musician/producer RAC are expecting their first child together.
The 27-year-old appeared on the Girlboss Radio Podcast this week, and she talked a lot about her pregnancy, including what she’s going to name her little baby girl.
We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent. And then I love the actress Holland Taylor. I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going with Holland.
Holland is a pretty classy name. You just expect a person named Holland to have good posture at the dinner table, you know?
Ireland also talked about how she’s looking forward to giving her daughter more stability and security than she had growing up.
What I’m most excited about is really more centered around a lot of things I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself that I didn’t have. What’s kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm.
You’ll remember Ireland didn’t have the best relationship with her father growing up. Back in 2007, when she was just 11-years-old, Alec left a now viral voicemail on her phone, where he called her a thoughtless little pig.
