Keke Palmer Teases Name She Picked Out For Baby, Says It’s “Nice” And “Natural”

What’s Keke Palmer going to name her baby boy? Well, we don’t know just yet, but she did give her fans a couple of hints.

The 29-year-old ‘Nope‘ actress went on her podcast ‘Baby, This is Keke Palmer‘ on Tuesday and gave some hints about the name she and boyfriend Darius Jackson have chosen for their baby.

We’re not saying the name, but the name for us – it gives American. It gives Black American storyline. We want it to just be like — we’re not going for anything too unique. It’s not about to be Stone and Sand. It’s just like a nice natural [name].

She also joked that she could just name the baby True, which would be hilarious because that would make the baby’s full name True Jackson.

For those who don’t know, True Jackson was a character she played on the Nickelodeon show, True Jackson, VP.

So we said, when we do, we said, when we do our wedding cards, that’s when the True Jackson moment will shine. We’ll do the wordplay for those invitations. But we are like, we can’t name the baby True Jackson. That’s too much of a joke. Yeah, that’s too much of a novelty. It’s too much of a novelty.

I think she made the right decision on that. You don’t want to turn your baby’s name into a joke… no matter how hilarious the joke would be.

Keke is in the final stretch of her pregnancy, so hopefully when she makes the birth announcement, we’ll also get a name reveal as well!
