If you’ve been to the movie theater in the past several years, there’s a decent chance Maria Menounos has popped up on your screen before the trailers. She’s the host of the ‘Noovie’ pre-show that plays as you’re trying to find your seats.

The 44-year-old media personality, who has hosted Extra and E! News, has been trying to have a baby for the past 10 years. She has talked a lot about the long journey with her husband Keven Undergaro. The journey has been full of ups and downs, but now finally, a major up is coming their way.

Maria spoke to PEOPLE about the exciting news:

Just after a decade of trying everything, we are so grateful to the beautiful family helping us conceive our baby. Keven, my dad and I are all beyond excited for this soul to come into our lives. What a blessing.

It’s a blessing indeed. As mentioned above, the journey has been long and painful for Maria. In February 2022, she told PEOPLE that she started IVF treatments a decade ago, and nothing had worked so far.

It’s been years. We’ve used different services, different people. It’s just been a very frustrating process.

But now thankfully, the process is over. Maria shared a clip of her and her father watching an ultrasound video, “Oh my god,” she says in the clip. “Guys, that’s my baby. I love you.”

A beautiful moment. We are truly so happy for her. She’s had such a difficult past 10 years. Not only with the pregnancy struggles, but she also had surgery back in 2017 to remove a brain tumor.

And in 2021, her mother passed away from brain cancer.

I think it’s safe to say, Maria deserved this miracle.
