Rebel Wilson Reveals First Surrogate Miscarried Before She Welcomed Baby Girl Royce

Back in November 2022, Rebel Wilson and her partner Ramona Argruma, welcomed their first baby girl via surrogate.

When first announcing the news, the 42-year-old ‘Pitch Perfect‘ actress talked about how great motherhood was, revealing how her daughter was already following in her footsteps.

She’s so cute. She’s smiling, it’s her new trick, and she makes noises. I really think she’s going to be a singer or something. I played her the Pitch Perfect soundtrack and she loves it. I’m already making jokes that I’m going to put her on some Nickelodeon show.

But during a recent appearance on ‘The Pickup with Britt, Laura and Mitch‘, Wilson revealed the journey to motherhood was a difficult one.

I tried with one surrogate to have the baby and sadly the embryo miscarried which is really…You get so excited when it takes and it was really sad. I was mourning at that at the time, but then to have a second embryo, it was amazing.

She talked about how she believes it was a miracle. After all, she had been on this fertility journey for a few years, and had been knocked down several times.

So for it all to finally work out? Well, yeah, that’s pretty magical.

Now I look at it and I have a family, I have an instant family kind of thing and little Roycey is amazing, she is such a little angel.
