Good guy Martin Short? We think so! Chance the Rapper went on his Twitter account on Sunday to give a special shoutout to ‘Only Murders in the Building‘ star, Martin Short.
According to the Grammy-winning artist, he was getting on a flight with his 7-year-old daughter, Kensli, when they discovered their seats weren’t next to each other. Chance says he didn’t really want to inconvenience anyone by asking them to move, and thankfully, he didn’t have to ask.
Why? Because Martin Short just offered!
I really ain’t wanna inconvenience anyone by asking them to swap seats, but before I could say anything this kind older gentleman offered his seat to Kensli so we could sit together. We both said thank you and as he stands up, I realize it’s THE Martin Short!! So cool and Kensli freaked out cause she’s obsessed with The Santa Clause 3.
For those who don’t know, Short plays Jack Frost in The Santa Clause 3. Chance called Short an “awesome person,” and we obviously agree.
Short has probably been that parent before. After all, he has a total of three kids. They’re all in their 30s now, but we’re sure he still remembers those days.
As for Chance, he shares Kensli and 3-year-old Marli with his wife, Kirsten Corley.
