Surprise! Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach secretly welcomed their second child together four months ago.
The director, who has been busy promoting the upcoming ‘Barbie‘ film, broke the news in a cover story for Elle UK.
In the piece, which was published on Wednesday, Gerwig admitted to being in a “twilight state” since her baby boy’s arrival earlier this year.
He’s a little Schmoo. That’s very much his energy. He’s a wise little baby. I’m still doing that thing where I wake up every hour to 90 minutes and just hover. You just keep wanting to look at that baby.
This is the 39-year-old star’s second baby with Noah. They already share a 4-year-old son named Harold. And while this is Greta’s second kid, it’s Noah’s third. The 53-year-old director/writer shares a 13-year-old son named Rohmer with his ex-wife, Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Greta and Noah keep their family life fairly private. They don’t speak much about their son or their relationship. We do know that their love story started back in 2011, and in 2020, they reportedly got engaged. It’s not clear if they’re officially married yet.
Hopefully after all the promotion for this ‘Barbie’ film ends, Gerwig can finally get some rest!
