‘Get Out’ Star LaKeith Stanfield And His Bride Just Welcomed Their First Baby!

LaKeith Stanfield doesn’t update his private life often, but when he does, he provides some MAJOR updates.

The star of the upcoming ‘Haunted Mansion‘ movie told PEOPLE that he and his model girlfriend Kasmere Trice are now officially husband and wife.

And even more surprising, they welcomed their first baby together!

“There’s life before being a parent, and then there’s life being a parent. It completely changes,” he told the magazine. For LaKeith, that life-changing moment first came seven years ago when he welcomed his first kid with his ex.

But for his new bride Kasmere, it’s her first time being a mother. She told PEOPLE, “We decided early on we wanted to protect our baby as much as we can for as long as possible,” and they stayed true to that by not revealing the baby’s gender or name.

Stanfield says being a father has completely changed his life…

I’m truly concerned about their wellbeing and that I want them to do well, to be well, to feel well in the world, and that’s a unique thing. I know for me growing up, I didn’t always feel like I had that. I didn’t really have a figure that was a male that was in my life that I felt I could depend on and count on.

Sounds like he’s doing fatherhood right!
