Chrissy Teigen and John Legend just did something not many people can do… they traveled with four kids, with two of them being under the age of one!
During a conversation with PEOPLE, Teigen revealed that she and Legend had already planned a trip to Mexico before welcoming their latest addition, Wren, 10 weeks ago. They could have easily canceled the vacation after he arrived early, but instead, they decided to travel as a family of six.
And surprisingly, it went well.
We just got back from a little trip to Mexico. We actually planned this a long time ago before we knew that we’d have the type of babies that could do this kind of thing. But luckily, we got so lucky with Esti and Wren that they are actually the easiest parts of our family now. Wren is just such a sleepy love bug. I think he’s still meant to be in the tummy — he really doesn’t seem to wake up for much, but now he’s getting much more aware.
In addition to baby Wren, Legend and Teigen share 7-month-old Esti, 5-year-old Miles and 7-year-old Luna.
Teigen revealed that Miles and Luna are a little rambunctious, but they’re helping out a lot with their younger siblings…
Miles and Luna are the coconuts. They’re crazy, bonkers and a lot to keep up with, but they help us so much with the babies. We did the right thing, being able to travel with all of them, and we had a really fun couple of weeks with them.
