Kourtney Kardashian had a pretty big pregnancy scare last month while her husband Travis Barker was overseas traveling with his band. You’ll remember he had to cancel a few tour stops so he could rush home to be with Kourtney.
The 44-year-old reality star had to have emergency fetal surgery. She was worried she might lose her baby, but miraculously, doctors were able to correct the problem.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the ‘Poosh‘ founder spoke about how it took her a bit to let go of the fear and put her trust in God.
Right after the surgery, I reached the point where I let myself go and I stopped worrying. Now I talk to the baby every day, have a positive mindset, keep my head straight, and say a lot of prayers. It took me a while to let go of the fear.
She also talked about how this pregnancy has been so different than her previous ones. In her three pregnancies before, she was still working out, flying on planes, and drinking caffeine during the early days, but this time doctors gave her a lot of restrictions…
But this time, unlike the other three, I was followed by a different group of doctors, who gave me many restrictions in the first months. No workouts, no Pilates, no caffeine and no plane trips. Even no sex! I think all this caution made me a little afraid because, in the past, I never had to be so careful.
The “no sex” thing must have been really hard for her and Travis because we all know much they love it.
