A little over a year ago, Hilary Swank shocked everyone by announcing she was pregnant with twins at the age of 48.
10 months ago, she gave birth to the healthy set of twins, and now she’s living life as a mom for the first time. She was on The Tonight Show this past week to talk with Jimmy Fallon.
And during their conversation, she talked about how much she’s loving being a mom.
It is the best in the whole wide world. It’s more joy and more fun and more exhausting — it’s more everything than I ever thought it would be. It’s more glorious. It’s the most extraordinary thing.
Yep. That sounds about right. It’s basically the same life you were living before, but just with more everything, including stress and exhaustion.
Swank also revealed that her twins have much different personalities. Her daughter, Aya, likes to ramble on and even growl, “she really commits,” Swank laughed.
Meanwhile, her son Ohm is a little more reserved, but he does like to point at random things and go, “Ah!”
Honestly, I still do that too, so you know… Ohm is cool in my book!
Swank shares both children with her husband, Philip Schneider. They’ve been married since 2018.
