56-year-old actress Nicole Kidman talked to Elle recently, and she opened up about her home life and motherhood.
For those who don’t know, Kidman shares two daughters (Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13) with her husband, Keith Urban. She also has two grown kids with her ex, Tom Cruise.
In the interview, Kidman talked about how much she cherishes her time away from Hollywood at their family home in Tennessee.
I like being a part of something not about my work, not about who I am, none of that. Just a citizen who’s in the world. And my kids love that, too, when I do that. Keith and I are very active in the community.
She also gushed over her two daughters, noting how much she admires them…
I love teenage girls. I just find them exquisite. I marvel at that age group and what they’re dealing with, but also their ability to handle so much.
It’s such an emotional time for girls. Those teenage years are some of the most tumultuous years. Also the most confusing years.
It gets better though! Especially when you have a mom as cool as Nicole Kidman.
