On Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the 49-year-old host/actress told the audience about a recent interaction she had with pop star Ariana Grande.
She explained that her two daughters, Olive, 11, and Frankie, 9, are huge fans of Ariana, so earlier this month, Barrymore took them to see her perform at Saturday Night Live.
And the experience was beyond anything Drew could have imagined…
We went… to Saturday Night Live to watch her perform and we ended up getting to hang out with her and talk with her. They all sat around chit-chatting. She is so kind, so nice, so present [and] was so amazing to my girls. My daughters and I are on such a high. She went from being like our idol to our model.
That’s pretty darn cool. Ariana often takes some heat for her dating decisions, but when it comes to her fans? No one treats them better.
Earlier this month, Barrymore talked more about her girls, revealing she loves when they get into sports.
To me, girls in sports are so awesome. It’s the coolest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Whether my one daughter is doing figure skating or my other daughter is doing soccer, I will be there at every event. I will not miss one, because it’s so important for me to support them in that area.
