Actress/model Julia Fox, who famously dated Kanye West for a hot minute, sat down for an interview with InStyle this past week.
And during the interview, she talked about her life raising her 3-year-old son, Valentino, who she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Peter Artemiev.
Fox bragged about doing it all herself, revealing she does not have a nanny to assist her in daily tasks.
I don’t have a nanny, so I do everything: the drop-off, the pickup, the lunches, the feeding, the shower, the bath, all of it, the doctor’s appointments, the play dates. Obviously, I’m lucky that my family is here in New York, all the grandparents, the aunts, the uncles. So if I have to go do something, it’s very easy for me to call upon somebody. And they’re all very eager to take care of him because he’s just the sweetest, most fun little ray of light.
It takes a village, right? You can’t do it all by yourself. It’s nice that she has family around to help her out. That’s always the preferred option.
Back in 2022, Fox made headlines for telling parents to buy their kids mini mops and brooms instead of toys…
I suggest everyone buy their kid a little mini mop, a mini broom, and start teaching them those life skills really young so that when they enter the real world, they don’t have to outsource for everything and they know how to do things for themselves.
Honestly, that’s not a terrible idea.
