Cardi B sat down for a lengthy interview with Rolling Stone recently, and she talked a lot about parenting. The 31-year-old rapper has two kids with her husband Offset. They have a 5-year-old named Kulture and a 2-year-old named Wave.
During the interview, Cardi remembered how guilty she felt when she canceled her tour after welcoming her daughter five years ago.
I was really, really scared. I [felt] like, damn, I’m letting everybody down. I’m letting my family down. I’m letting everybody that works for me down. My baby was so little — germs and planes and ear popping on a newborn? Can you imagine a baby in a f—ing tour bus? It f—ed me up. Yo, postpartum is something you can’t even explain.
These days, Cardi is no longer suffering with postpartum, but she is still suffering with mom guilt. She’s a busy lady, but doesn’t want to take time away from her kids.
She’s looking for a nanny, but right now, she’s leaning on her parents, however, she doesn’t feel great about it.
I had them kids. They came out of my p—-, not my mom’s. They mine. My kids come first. My kids come before anything.
Cardi likes to paint a picture, doesn’t she? 😂 😂 😂
