Most mothers need a break from the madness. Maybe they want a night out with some friends to talk about something other than cartoons and farts.
But Khloe Kardashian insists she doesn’t really need a break. During the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians‘ the 40-year-old reality star felt the need to defend herself. She had been getting some heat from her sisters that she was spending too much time at home with her kids.
For some reason, I keep getting dissected and scrutinized for being ‘too mommy.’ Like you spend too much time with your kids, you never want to be social, you don’t have any friends, but for me, I genuinely feel like I was made to be a mom and there’s no other place I would rather be than here with my kids. There’s gonna be a time that my kids are gonna want to choose their friends over me. And right now, when I have the opportunity and the privilege of having dinner with my kids every night, I’m going to take advantage of that.
It’s hard to imagine anyone arguing with that line of thinking. We’re not sure why her family is giving her such a difficult time about it. We all parent in our own unique way.
Khloe added that her kids are never going to say, “Mom, we wish you worked more!”
In 15 years, my kids are never going to be like, ‘I really wish you worked more. I really remember that time that you were at work late.’ They’re going to be like, ‘Why the f— weren’t you there?’
Yep. Khloe is in a great position in life. She’s already made her millions. She doesn’t have to work anymore to provide for her family, so why not use that extra time to care for her kids?
