Did you know that Eddie Murphy’s son, Eric, is dating Martin Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin? Yeah, two comedy legends might soon be co-grandparents.
During a new interview with CBS Mornings, Murphy said he’s “cool” with it all, but he does have high expectations for their future children.
They’re both beautiful. They look amazing together. And it’s funny [because] everybody [asks], ‘What is that baby going to be funny?’ Just our gene pool is going to make this funny baby. If they ever get married and have a child, I’m expecting the child to be funny.
That future baby could be a super comedian!
Martin has also talked about the possibility of sharing a grandchild with Murphy. He joked that his daughter and Eddie’s son could conceive a “comedy super baby.”
He also revealed that he and Eddie try their best to stay out of their business. “That’s their thing they have going on,” he said.
One thing he made clear though? Eddie is paying for the wedding!
