Kourtney Kardashian does not like asking for help. She is more independent than her other famous sisters when it comes to raising her kids.
Unlike Kim and Khloe, Kourtney puts motherhood first. She does not care as much about building a brand. She wants to make sure she has time for all her children.
But during this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old mom of four did admit to using a nanny during a recent family vacation in Australia with her husband, Travis Barker.
We haven’t been using a nanny or a baby nurse with Rocky at all but now that we’re in Australia, it was important to bring someone so that I could leave the house and go out with the other kids and do adventures with them. And so, I really schedule each adventure around his nap. Then I have a window of being gone for like two and a half hours, [which] is my time where I feel like I’m ready to go back.
For those who don’t know, Kourtney and Travis welcomed Rocky (their first baby together) back in November of 2023. This trip to Australia was filmed just a few months after Rocky’s birth.
In addition to Rocky, Kourtney shares 12-year-old Penelope, 15-year-old Mason and 9-year-old Reign with her ex, Scott Disick.
And since all her kids are different ages, she’s been working hard to find a balance between them.
I have kids all different age ranges — preteen, teenage, adults, an infant. So I really try to set aside one-on-one time with each of my kids. I don’t want to miss anything. It’s like a feeling of being pulled in different directions, like wanting to be everything to everyone.
It sounds like she’s trying her best, and that’s really all anyone can ask for!
