Adam Brody is having a bit of a career resurgence right now. The 44-year-old actor co-stars in the new Netflix series, Nobody Wants This, and everyone has been gushing over his performance.
On Wednesday (Oct. 9) Brody was on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where he spoke about the “small role” he played in the 2002 horror film, The Ring.
He revealed that his 9-year-old daughter convinced him to let her watch it…
My daughter, who’s 9 — and this was her lead, this was not me. I would never push this on her. I have a small part in The Ring, the horror movie from, you know, the 2000s. She wanted to ‘dabble’ in viewing the film. And she did and she took it well! Now she tells everyone, ‘I don’t understand why people are scared. I’ve seen The Ring.’ She throws it around.
After the success of her first horror watch, Brody decided to introduce her to The Sixth Sense, but unfortunately she didn’t respond well to it.
We watched The Sixth Sense and that was a mistake. She was honestly crying for a few days.
Whoops! To be fair, The Sixth Sense creeped me out as well, and I was an adult when I watched it for the first time.
In addition his daughter, Brody also shares a 4-year-old son with his wife, Leighton Meester.
