Ice-T went on his Instagram account on Thursday (Oct. 24) to share a pretty cool photo of his daughter, 8-year-old Chanel, joining him on stage during a recent tour stop.
The 66-year-old rapper captioned the photo, “Yes, my parenting technique is probably different than most.. But @babychanelnicole has Zero stage fright.”
In addition to Chanel, Ice-T also has two grown children: daughter LeTesha Marrow, 48, and son Tracy Marrow Jr., 32.
During a conversation with PEOPLE back in June, Ice-T talked about life on the road and touring with his family.
She [Chanel] learned how to walk on the tour bus. It’s those small aisles, and she would touch the sides, and we would send her down the aisle. She’s been coming on stage ever since she was little. She’s looking forward to it. I bring her out during a song called ‘Talk S—, Get Shot.’
That’s certainly a choice, but hey, who are we to judge? He’s clearly a great dad, even if he does make some odd parenting decisions.
