Denzel Washington is one of Hollywood’s most talented actors. He has starred in some outstanding movies, including Remember the Titans, Fences, Training Day, and Philadelphia.
But it’s not his filmography that he’s most proud of, it’s his children.
While speaking with Esquire, the 69-year-old actor opened up about his family life while talking about his proudest accomplishment.
When I think of what I’m proudest of, anything I’ve accomplished doesn’t even come to mind. It’s our children: They’re good people. They know right from wrong. What else can you ask for, you know? That alone: All four of them, healthy and in their right mind. Enough said. Pauletta did a brilliant job with them. She taught them the right way.
He shares a total of four children with his wife, Pauletta Washington. They have John David, 40, Katia, 37, and twins Malcolm and Olivia, 33.
The majority of his kids are in show business. John David is perhaps the most famous, starring in movies like Tenet and BlacKkKlansman.
But earlier this year, Malcolm directed his first studio feature film, The Piano Lesson, which stars his brother John David. Their sister, Katia, was a producer on the film, so it was a true family effort.
