John Legend sat down for an interview with his 8-year-old daughter Luna to talk about his Grammy-nominated children’s album, My Favorite Dream.
During the adorable interview, Legend talked a little about phones and social media, noting how dangerous they are, “We’re not going to let you have a smartphone til’ you’re like 16 years old. What do you think of that advice?” he asked Luna.
She responded by asking to compromise, “How about we compromise on nine?” she replied, which caused Legend to burst out laughing.
Later in the interview, Luna asked her father what he loves most about his family, and he gave a really sweet answer…
So many things. I think it’s the most pure love you can have, is the love you have for your family. It’s so pure and when me and mommy look at you, and look at your brothers and sister, we see ourselves. And we want to pour all this knowledge and all these lessons we’ve learned in life into you and help you become the best adults you can be.
It’d be pretty hard to have a better answer to that question. It’s clear John and his wife Chrissy Teigen love being parents. They have always been family first, and we love them for that!
