At 28-years-old, Tom Holland isn’t quite ready to start a family with his longtime girlfriend, Zendaya. He’s still busy acting in some of Hollywood’s biggest movies.
Heck, just recently, he confirmed that he’ll be starring in another Spider-Man sequel next year. Filming is expected to begin in 2025 and a release date has been scheduled for 2026. So it’s safe to say, they’ll be no babies for Holland until at least 2027.
During a recent interview with Men’s Health, Holland revealed that when he has kids, you won’t see him in movies for a long time.
When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. I’ll just be golfing and being a father. Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.
Zendaya has expressed similar thoughts, although she wasn’t as “final” about it. She said she’d like to be in a place where she’s not worried about taking on roles to stay relevant. Basically, she’ll be accepting fewer roles to spend more time at home.
For those wondering, Zendaya and Holland’s relationship is still going strong. Holland recently revealed he was spending Christmas with Zendaya’s family in the states.
But at some point, they’d like to bring the families together…
I think what we’d like to start doing is rather than spending it with each family each year is bring the families together. That’s what I think we want to do next time. This time, because we’re both actors, we’re terrible at organizing things, so it hasn’t happened yet. The thought’s there. The idea has been planted.
