Vanessa and Nick Lachey have re-entered the spotlight in recent years, thanks to them hosting the super popular reality series, Love is Blind.
The star couple have been married for a little over 13 years. They welcomed their first son together, Camden, just one year after getting married. If you do the simple math, this means Camden is now about to become a teenager later this year.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Vanessa teared up as she thought about her son turning 13-years-old…
That one’s going to get me. It’s going to get me because you know that this has been happening in the last couple months. They’re growing! I can’t answer this question, I have on fake eyelashes. I’m not nervous about the next phase, I’m excited. Everybody who has older kids talks about how it gets better. I’m hanging onto them still being little. And they’re still little now. So. I’m going to cry.
In addition to Camden, Vanessa and Nick share a 10-year-old daughter named Brooklyn and an 8-year-old son named Phoenix.
Even though her emotions sometimes get the best of her, Vanessa is trying her best to focus on the positives…
Camden is just…he’s 12 but he’s still like a 12-year-old boy. He watches Bluey with his brother and sister and they’re just still kids. And I’m like really holding onto it because at some point it does change … but I’m excited about girlfriends and boyfriends and driving and whatever.
Oh, geez. Driving. Don’t get us started.
