As you all know, Kris Jenner has earned the title of “momager” because she manages the careers of her very famous daughters. It’s reported she takes a 10% cut from her children’s earnings. 10% might not sound like a lot, but when you remember that two of her kids are basically billionaires, well, 10% starts to sound really good.
During a recent podcast episode of Khloe in Wonder Land, Khloe Kardashian talked with her mom about the legacy of the Kardashian name.
Kris said she never could have imagined that her grandkids would appear on their hit reality show…
I guess I could also never have imagined it to even include another generation, which is so amazing. Now my grandchildren get to shoot with us, or film with us. Or even if they don’t want to film — be in the room. It’s the kind of thing where we can all work together.
Khloe then chimed in, talking about how in the beginning of everything, the dynamic between the siblings and Kris was much different.
I also think our dynamic at the beginning, it was challenging — I know more so for Kourt and I for you to be our manager at first. Because we were like, ‘What are you talking about? You’re not going to boss us around. We don’t even want to do this!’
She went on to talk about how Kris and Kim basically forced her and Kourtney to be on the show. They were completely against it in the beginning.
You guys were like, ‘No, you’re going to be on the show,’ But then when you were like our manager and telling us what to do and where to go, it was hard for us to differentiate ‘mom’ and then a manager. It was hard for, I would say, the first few years.
Money changes everything.
