If you didn’t know, ‘Parks and Rec‘ star Rob Lowe has two sons, Matthew, 31, and John, 29, with his wife Sheryl Berkoff.
And if you’re thinking, “Whaaat? He has a kid already in his 30s?” This is where we should remind you that Lowe is 61-years-old. Yeah, we know it’s hard to believe considering he looks like he’s still in his 40s.
The actor recently appeared in AARP The Magazine, and he admitted that he has an overly inappropriate interest in Matthew and John’s love lives.
I have a probably overly inappropriate interest in my sons’ love lives — because I’m angling for grandkids. It better happen!
We’re thankful he added the reasoning, which is probably the only reason that wouldn’t make him sound like a creep.
It’s clear Rob loves being a family man. We know he misses having his kids at home. Last year, he remembered how emotional he became after dropping off Matthew at college years ago…
It brought up a lot of stuff. And I thought, why is this affecting me so deeply? Because Sheryl was, I mean, not unaffected, but she wasn’t me. I mean, I was like a puddle. I had to wear dark glasses on the plane because tears were streaming down my [face] the whole time. I was a wreck…I’ve realized it’s very, very, very common because people talk to me about it now all the time.
