If you didn’t know, lovable actress/writer/comedian Tina Fey is the proud momma of two daughters — Alice Zenobia Richmond, 19, and Penelope Athena Richmond, 13.
She shares them both with her longtime husband, Jeff Richmond. And while they make it a point to be honest with their children, Fey does admit she lies occasionally.
During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, Fey was asked if she gets nervous returning to 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where Saturday Night Live is also filmed. For those who don’t know, Fey joined SNL as a writer in 1997, then became head writer in 1999, and one year later in 2000 she was promoted to a cast member.
Safe to say, she was beloved, but that doesn’t mean she’s proud of everything she’s done there. She admitted that several of her sketches made it to air, including ones she’s not exactly fond of.
On Peacock, they show old, random-ordered sketches from SNL on the SNL channel. Sometimes ones have come up that my kids are like, ‘What is this?’ And I fully wrote it, and I’m like, ‘I don’t know. That’s so stupid, right?’
LOL! That’s hilarious. In her defense, those sketches were written over 20 years ago, so the humor just might not stand the test of time.
