Former model turned wellness pro Miranda Kerr was recently featured in Vogue Australia, and she talked a lot about her home life, which she shares with her Snapchat CEO husband, Evan Spiegel. They have two kids together, but Kerr also shares an 11-year-old with her ex Orlando Bloom.
In total, the 39-year-old star is a mother to three boys, and she’s incredibly grateful. In fact, she claims she always wanted three boys.
I just love being a mother and I always wanted three boys, so I feel really blessed that I have three healthy boys.
And when she was asked if she was open to having more kids? She left it up to God, “I feel like I’m open, so we’ll see what God decides.”
Kerr also opened up about co-parenting, which is something a lot of people can relate to these days. She explained that she and Bloom have a great co-parenting relationship. She also talked about Bloom’s new love, Katy Perry.
I adore Katy and am grateful Orlando found someone he is happy with. Now Flynn has four happy parents who get along. When we separated, the most important thing we decided we could do is that when we make a decision, we ask, ‘Is this in the best interest of our child?’ We will be family no matter what.
That’s the key to all co-parenting relationships. If your ex has a new person in their life, it’s so important that everyone gets along. It’s almost like joining a new friend group. If one friend is toxic, then the entire group is going to suffer.
This isn’t the first time Kerr has talked about her relationship with Bloom and Perry. Back in September of last year, she had this to say:
From day one, when Orlando and I separated, we have been very close, really good friends. I always have wanted the best for him, and he’s always wanted the best for me. It’s incredible that we’ve been able to find other partners who work really well with us. Evan and Orlando really get along just as well as Katy and I, so it’s such a blessing, and it doesn’t need to be any other way. It can be harmonious and you can be super kind.
