One could argue that Selena Gomez is in the prime of her career. Not only does she star in the hit Hulu series ‘Only Murders in the Building,’ but she’s also producing a bunch of projects, including Hotel Transylvania 4, The Broken Hearts Gallery and This Is the Year. She also produces/stars in her very own cooking series, Selena + Chef, on HBO Max.
Safe to say, she’s super busy, but she doesn’t plan to stay super busy… at least not when it comes to her acting career.
During a recent episode of the TaTaTu video podcast, Giving Back Generation, the 30-year-old star revealed she would like to start a family.
I hope to be married and to be a mom. Eventually, I’m going to be tired of all of this, so I’m probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out.
Apparently, taking care of her 8-year-old sister has given her confidence that she can raise a child of her own.
She puts things in perspective. I have to basically watch this little person grow into a human being. There’s no better feeling in the world. I kind of feel like a parent in a way, even though I’m not. It’s so rewarding to just see that life was so simple at one point. I want to enjoy life the way she enjoys life.
So who might Selena start this family with? Well, there are rumors that Gomez is dating Italian-Canadian film producer Andrea Iervolino. The 34-year-old producer helped Gomez celebrate her birthday last month on a yacht with a few of their friends.
They were spotted dancing together, and in a few photos, they were caught hugging.
Gomez and Iervolino have been linked together in the past, with hints that they are more than friends, but it has never been confirmed that they are dating. In fact, a source recently said that Gomez is single.
Definitely something to follow.
