Shocked? So are we! Adrienne Bailon and her husband Israel Houghton just announced the birth of their first child together via surrogacy.
The baby was a complete surprise to Adrienne’s fans, who probably remember her from ‘The Cheetah Girls‘ or from co-hosting ‘The Real‘ for nearly ten years.
The 38-year-old star shared a photo of her and Israel holding their newborn son.

As Bailon wrote in her caption, the pregnancy journey has not been an easy one. She talked about the struggles back in 2018, admitting, “I thought it would happen so easily for me and it just hasn’t happened that way.”
Bailon married her gossip singer husband back in November of 2016. He’s 51-years-old, so there is a little bit of an age difference between them, but they do seem to be in love. Bailon has called him her “best friend in the world,” so that has to mean something, right? They were dating for just six months before Houghton popped the question. He has four other children from a previous marriage.
Fun fact? Bailon once dated Rob Kardashian back in the day. They were with each until 2009. Apparently, they broke up because he cheated on her.
It’s been a long journey for Bailon, so we’re super happy she’s found peace and love. Congrats to the happy couple!
