We all know Serena Williams is a tennis legend, but it appears her 4-year-old daughter Olympia could not care less.
While speaking during ‘A Conversation with Champions‘ panel, the 40-year-old tennis champion explained how she and her daughter share all the same interests… except tennis.
She’s my little buddy. We do everything together. We go on dates and it’s so cool because she likes everything I do except for tennis. She’s really fun. I see a lot of my personality in her and it’s just a great time to have her around now to see what I do on a daily.
Honestly. It’s probably for the best she doesn’t seem to be into tennis because she’d probably always be in her mother’s shadow. She would constantly be compared to her mother. Every win. Every loss. Every title. Nothing would feel like hers.
So what does Olympia like doing? Well, Serena has said previously she’s really good at the piano.
Honestly, she likes playing piano. When she was in my belly, I played a lot of piano music.
She shared a video to her TikTok account of Olympia playing the piano and even singing a few notes. She captioned the video, “Olympia is a boss.”

For those who haven’t heard, Serena will begin her “evolution” away from tennis after she competes at the U.S. Open, which is scheduled to begin on August 29. She will attempt to win a history-making 24th Grand Slam.
