Hollywood loves an age gap, and Nicolas Cage is no different. The 58-year-old actor is married to a 27-year-old artist named Riko Shibata. They tied the knot back in February of 2021 in a private Las Vegas ceremony.
Now a little over a year later, they’re welcoming their first child together. A rep for the couple confirmed the news to PEOPLE this week.

According to the rep, Riko gave birth to a happy and healthy baby girl on Wednesday, September 7.
Nicolas and Riko are happy to announce the birth of their daughter. Mother and daughter are doing fine.
They named the baby girl August Francesca, which seems like a pretty tame name for someone as unique as Cage.
This is Riko’s first child, but it’s Cage’s third. He has a 16-year-old son named Kal-El and a 31-year-old son named Weston.
Earlier this year, Cage spoke about how excited he was to be a new father again.
My boys are all grown up, and I miss going to the toy store. I miss singing lullabies and rocking in the rocking chair. I’m looking forward to getting back to that.
Can you imagine having Nicolas Cage as your father? That must be a pretty wild ride. We wonder how his 31-year-old son feels about having a step-mom who is four years younger than him.
