Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were planning on expanding their family earlier this year, but now it looks like they’re shutting things down for a bit.

During a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine earlier this week, the 43-year-old reality star revealed she and Barker decided to stop their IVF journey.

We started an IVF journey, but I stopped. It was a lot. I took a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married.

Apparently, the process hasn’t been an easy one for the married couple. Back in May, Kourtney talked about the egg retrieval process.

Our egg retrieval didn’t go the way we would have hoped. He was able to retrieve the egg but it didn’t make it to an embryo stage. We start back again.

Kourtney already has three kids with her former boo, Scott Disick. Meanwhile, Travis Barker has two kids with his former spouse, Shanna Moakler.

So in total, they have five kids together. Why were they wanting to add a sixth one? Well, it’s likely because of how hard they have fallen for each other. If we had to guess, they probably want a kid to call their own.

Just recently, Kourtney officially changed her last name to Barker. Her new legal name is now Kourtney Kardashian Barker.

No word on when they might start the IVF process again, or if they’ve given up completely. We’re willing to bet this is simply a break and not a termination.
