As you all should know by now, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their rainbow baby. It’s been a long journey for the couple, filled with so much heartbreak after losing their third child in 2020. The 36-year-old model recently revealed that doctors told her she wouldn’t survive the pregnancy if she did not have an abortion.
Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.
After suffering through such a painful pregnancy, one can imagine how paranoid she has been with this latest one. She had been going to the doctor almost every single day for an ultrasound to make sure the baby was still alive and healthy inside her.
But now, she’s happy to report that those daily ultrasounds are no longer necessary because she can actually feel her baby.

Legend also went on his Instagram account to post a photo of his wife and her growing baby bump in a flowing pink dress during a special date night on Monday.
Teigen and Legend already share two kids together, 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles. According to Teigen, the kids are very excited to welcome a new addition to their family.
They’ve been excited for a long time. I feel like this is going to be the longest pregnancy to them because they’ve known since the day. But they’ve been really very excited.
