Life is good for ‘That ’70s Show‘ star Wilmer Valderrama. The 42-year-old actor shares a 19-month-old daughter named Nakano with his fiancee, Amanda Pacheco.
And he’s finally ready to open up about life as a father. After all, he spent so much of his time living life as a single guy. These days, he has an entire family to worry about.
It’s been incredible. She mumbles, ‘I love you,’ now. Literally, I can’t leave the house to work unless I hear it.
Wilmer describes fatherhood (so far at least) as “revitalizing and re-energizing” and says that it’s everything he thought it would be.
But he does admit to being a bit of a worrywart. He talked about how his daughter is learning to walk and run now, which means she has experienced a tough fall or two.
I think every parent’s going to relate to this, her learning to run and then us realizing she’s always wearing the wrong shoes for that kind of speed. And then knowing that it’s not going to turn out well at some point and that she’s going to have to learn some hard lessons of balance. That’s been the ongoing theme in the last month.
Overall though, life is good for Valderrama. He’s happier now than he’s ever been before. And by all accounts, he appears to be a very helpful partner.
During an interview back in January of this year, he talked about how he was constantly looking for things to do around the house while his fiancee was breastfeeding.
If you’re not doing anything, you’re not doing enough. There are a million things to be done while your partner is nursing: Get the baby, change the baby, burp the baby, track the feeding, and keep the mommy hydrated, fed, and rested.
Hope all you dudes out there are taking notes!
