Last week, Hilary Swank shocked the world by announcing she was pregnant with twins. The 48-year-old actress has never had kids, so having twins at the age of 48 is a pretty shocking development.
She’s having the twins with her husband, Philip Schneider, and according to recent reports, he’s doing a great job making sure Swank is taken care of.
Philip is spoiling her rotten and being really sweet and devoted the whole time. She feels like she hit the jackpot with Philip. Their connection is so soulful and special. Everyone’s just so happy for her.
Before Schneider, Swank was married to actor/director Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007. Apparently, Lowe’s “substance abuse” problem was a contributing factor to the split.
But it’s all smiles for Swank now. Sources say she and Schneider are already picking out baby names and putting together a nursery.
Back when she announced her pregnancy earlier this month, Swank revealed this is something she’s wanted for a long time.
This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom. And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it. It’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it.
She continues the trend of celebrities having babies much later in life. Heck, take a look at John Stamos. He didn’t become a father until 54!
