Halloween is less than a week away now and parents all over the country are breaking out their walking shoes to take their little ones trick-or-treating.
And while most parents will be stealing Reese’s Cups out of their kids’ stash of candy, Emma Roberts will be working several states away from her son.
The 31-year-old star was talking in an Instagram Live on Monday (Oct. 24) when she revealed how horrible she feels to miss Halloween this year with her son.
I’m devastated because I have to work on Halloween, but like not in the same state as my son. So, I’m missing trick or treating and I’m feeling really horrible about it.
It’s especially difficult for the actress because Halloween is her favorite day of the year, which makes sense considering she’s starred in several seasons of the super creepy series, American Horror Story.
For those who don’t remember, Roberts gave birth to her son, Rhodes, back in December 2020. She shares him with her ex-fiance Garrett Hedlund.
Back in March of 2021, Roberts revealed some great parenting advice she received.
Motherhood gets easier with practice. It’s not something you’ll always feel like you’re getting right, but you will get better every day. When in doubt, just love your child and yourself.
