Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is probably one of the best dads in the world. Sure, we only see glimpses of his parenting through his Instagram account, but those glimpses paint a wonderful picture.
On Monday, the 50-year-old actor went on his Instagram to share a video of his daughters, Jasmine and Tiana, discovering their presents on Christmas morning.
“GUINEA PIGS!!! Hope all of you out there and your families had a wonderful Christmas!!” Johnson started out his caption on the post.
He then talked about how he started a new tradition this year of waking up at five in the morning.
This year I started a new tradition where I would wake up at 5am (regardless of what time I went to sleep – which was 1am) shower, get dressed and be downstairs waiting for the little tornados to wake up and come down and wreak complete havoc & chaos. Man as a daddy I live for these moments of joy & Christmas imagination.
I think all parents can relate. Typically, you don’t get to bed until late at night on Christmas Eve because you’re busy setting the stage in the living room and making sure Santa gets his milk and cookies. And then once your head finally hits the pillow, your kids come running in, “CAN WE OPEN PRESENTS YET?!?”
Johnson shares both his daughters with his wife Lauren Hashian. He’s also the father of 21-year-old Simone, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Dany Garcia.
