Keke Palmer announced her pregnancy while hosting Saturday Night Live back on December 3rd. It was a shock to everyone. Heck, some people didn’t even know she was dating anyone!
Ever since revealing her pregnancy last month, Palmer has been open about the pregnancy journey on her social media accounts.
She’s also been talking about the journey in interviews. During a chat with Page Six at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, the ‘Nope‘ actress admitted she was excited, but also nervous to meet her baby for the first time.
I’m very excited, nervous and curious more than anything because it’s one of those things that no one can really prepare you for. More than anything, I can’t wait to get my hands on my baby.
Something she didn’t consider before pregnancy is how much she’d have to slow down her life. She revealed she’s naturally going near 100 all the time, but she’s had to train herself to relax a little bit.
I’m a naturally fast-paced person. For me, life is going at least 90 miles per hour, that’s me cruising. So yeah, I think in general, whether it’s the holidays or this transition I’m having in my life, slowing down is definitely not something that comes naturally to me.
That’s probably a good thing though. You can’t keep up that pace forever, so maybe she needs this baby to slow her down a little bit.
No word on an exact due date, but we’re sure she will keep us posted!
