Yesterday, Kaley Cuoco went on her Instagram Story to repost a photo taken by stylist Jayde Moon. In the photo, Moon captured Cuoco’s set chair and a small table.
And on that table was a bottle of Coca Cola, some cheese and four cups of ice, “Lots of ice to chew on, from coffee bean only,” Moon wrote on the photo.
Cuoco reposted the picture and added, “All I want is ICE, anyone find this odd?”

Chewing on lots of ice during pregnancy is actually not that uncommon. In medical terms, eating ice is called pagophagia, and it’s often linked to an iron-deficiency.
This condition is relatively common, affecting up to 52% of pregnant women worldwide. Luckily, this deficiency can usually be corrected by eating iron-rich food (like lean meat, fish, spinach, lentils, chickpeas, or iron-fortified cereal among other things), or buy taking an iron supplement.
We’re sure Cuoco has a team of great doctors around her, so if they determine she’s low on iron, we’re sure they’ll be able to figure out a solution.
This is all new for Kaley though. It’s her first pregnancy. No word on an expected delivery date, but we’ll keep you posted.
