Chrissy Teigen’s husband, John Legend, performed at the 2023 Grammys on Sunday night. He was also up for three nominations for his song, God Did.
Teigen had planned to join her husband for the special night. She even had a dress fitting, but when it came down to it, she had more important things to handle at home.
She shared a cute photo of her holding her little baby girl Esti Maxine. Teigen captioned the post, “happy grammy day!! had a dress fitting, looked around and realized ….what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol.”
Teigen gave birth just under a month ago, so it would have been pretty incredible if she had showed up at the Grammys. I think it’s safe to say everyone understood why she needed to stay at home.
Last month, the 37-year-old star revealed on Twitter that she’s been catching up on a lot of documentaries while breastfeeding Esti.

Teigen loves being a mother. Sources say she wants at least one other kid, so it looks like she might be doing this all over again in a year or two.
